Excellent route of 1-3 hours long leading almost only by bicycle paths. Liked by Kaunas citizens, as gives a possibility to restfully and safely ride a bicycle practically in city's center. Also fits to Kaunas guests, who want to look closer to Kaunas while riding by bicycle. During the trip you will ride through Freedom Avenue (lith. Laisvės alėja) and Vilniaus street, see Kaunas Castle and confluence of rivers Nemunas and Neris, admire Nemunas views while riding along its riverside, visit Panemune and Oakery parks.

In this route are involved only objects that you will pass by riding a bicycle, i.e. you won't need to additionally turn from the track anywhere and so prolong the duration of the trip. If  you are eager to make more stops and get to know Kaunas center closer, you should take a look at a pedestrians' route "Kaunas Heart" visiting objects.

This route is comfortable to cycle clockwise as well as counterclockwise. Simply choose what you would like to start with: Vilniaus street and Freedom Avenue, which both are intended for pedestrians (there is a bicycle path signed on them) or more quiet Nemunas quay.
